Daily Routine For Multi-Age Program
Our activities are centered on basic daily living (eating, playing, and resting). Our emphasis is to promote a social environment, which encourages the children to interact in a positive way with each other. We are however flexible with the given routine switching some activities from time to time.
- 7:00 – 8:00 – Drop off time – Free play
- 8:00 – 9:30 – Table toys, cognitive worksheets, sensory activities
- 9:30 – 9:45 – Clean up time and wash hands to get ready for snack
- 9:45 – 10:15 – Morning Snack
- 10:15 – 11:00 – Circle Time
- 11:00 – 11:30 – Art time
- 11:30 – 12:00 – Inside/Outside Play (depending on the weather)
- 12:00 – 12:30 – Lunch Time
- 12:30 – 12:45 – Quiet Reading, washroom routine
- 12:45 – 2:30 – Nap time (Children that don’t fall asleep can do craft and worksheets)
- 2:30 – 2:45 – Nap Routine (waking up kids & putting the beds away)
- 2:45 – 3:00 – Wash hands and get ready for afternoon snack
- 3:00 – 3:30 – Afternoon Snack
- 3:30 – 4:00 – Structured play (teachers will put different activities on the table)
- 4:00 – 4:30 – Afternoon Circle
- 4:30 – 6:00 – Free play or outside play
Daily Routine For Pre-School
- 9:30 – 9:45 – Drop off/Arrival
- 9:45 – 10:45 – Pre-school table time (includes puzzles, worksheets, tracing, writing, concepts, numbers, alphabet and cutting)
- 10:45 – 11:15 – Circle Time (includes music, weather and calendar, reading books, counting and phonics, number and letter recognition, helping hand and birthdays)
- 11:15 – 11:30 – Snack Time
- 11:30 – 12:00 – Inside/Outside Play (depending on the weather).
Daily Routine For OOSC
Before School
- 7:00 – 8:00 – Free Play, Art and cognitive worksheets
- 8:00 – 8:30 – Drop off to designated schools
After School
- 2:30 – 2:45 – Pick up time
- 2:45 – 3:00 – Silent Reading
- 3:00 – 3:15 – Wash hands
- 3:15 – 3:30 – Snack Time
- 3:30 – 4:30 – Home works.. Assignments.. Letters.. Numbers.. Concepts.. Crafts.. Experiments.. Cooking.. Baking etc…
- 4:30 – 6:00 – Outdoor or indoor free play
- FRIDAYS… TREAT DAYS… We bake, make popcorn, have ice cream or watch movies…
Parents are welcome to bring treats for the children as well.
